Sharing Opportunity was started as a simple Facebook Group Chat, where people used to share available internships and jobs and those in need would grab the opportunity. The main reason for starting the group in the first place was the saturated job market at the time. Real people with skills searching for a job or placement could not find one, but those with no required skills whatsoever were landing those job opportunities quite easily. So, in order to debunk such saturation and help distribute opportunities evenly, a group chat was created, which was later on expanded to a Facebook group.
Since its inauguration as a Facebook group, Sharing Opportunities has helped thousands of individuals to get connected with what they love doing. Either you are looking for a job or an internship (paid and unpaid), you get acquainted with possible job postings available at present. Even if you are looking for some courses, or some art competitions to enhance your knowledge, we along with our members at Sharing Opportunities are there connecting you with the job providers or event organizers by acting as a mediator. Mediator in the sense that we connect you and the client keeping in mind the core objective of the group. This group was indeed built by a group of Nepali youths with the vision of helping other youths who are in the pursuit of their career. The core objective of our group lies within our name “Sharing Opportunities”, where you share opportunities that might benefit others too. As mentioned above, opportunities need not be just jobs. It can be training, competitions, or courses that help a person bolster their career options.
Keeping in mind the same goal, we are now expanding our reach by launching our own website. Here, you will be able to get all the shared opportunities, posted jobs, placements and internships, and many more under one roof. As a non-profitable group of youths, we also seek your help regarding the opportunities available in your area. Please share with us and grow together with us.
“Help those in need, the wonders will follow you indeed.”
